The North American Peruvian Horse Association (NAPHA) Joy of Riding Program has been established to give National recognition to the pleasure and competitive rider and his Peruvian Horse for time in the saddle outside traditional Peruvian Horse Shows.
The horse must be registered with NAPHA and owned by an Associate or Governing Member in good standing in the NAPHA to be eligible for the program.
The rider must be a NAPHA member and maintain membership for each year in which hours are counted. Enrollment in the Joy of Riding Program is required for participation.
Download, print, and complete the Joy of
Riding Program Entry Form. Then mail the form to Joy Of Riding,
5230 Baseline Ave, Santa Ynez, CA 93460. You must have Adobe Reader

From Barbara Windom....10-January-2012
The RGPHC is having a fabulous three day clinic at La Estancia Alegre in
Alcalde, May 18-20. The clinician is Mark Bolender (www.uniquehorsemanship.com); he is
three time National Extreme Mountain Trail Champion, and he is a fantastic
trainer and teacher. Some of you may have seen Mark at the Gold Rush
Classic in 2011, however, that was only a brief introduction to what he can do
working with you and your horse on a real trail course. If you attend the
clinic, whether as a participant or as an auditor, I can assure you of three
wonderful days of fun and learning from a true master.
We are building a Mountain Trail course with unusual and nat ural obstacles in
our 15 acre Bosque, and I think it will be quite an exceptional weekend.
There is lots of room for auditors, and the price includes breakfast and lunch
all three days.
The flier and application/registration information is also on our
website:www.laestanciaalegre.com. Mark can only work with 10
participants, but there is no limit to auditors. I hope that any of your
members who are interested in trail riding and, perhaps, competitive trail
riding, will be able to attend.
